Newly restored and re-mastered with optimal sound and picture quality and presented with an arsenal of never-before-seen bonus materials, "The James Bond Ultimate Edition: Volume 1" and "The James Bond Ultimate Edition: Volume 2" will make their way to DVD next Tuesday, November 7th from MGM Home Entertainment.
Featuring some of 007's most popular adventures spanning the agent's storied career, these collections will feature 2-Disc editions for each of Bond's missions.
A perfect sampling for the beginning of a comprehensive 007 library, "The James Bond Ultimate Edition: Volume 1" will include "Goldfinger," "The World Is Not Enough," "Diamonds Are Forever," "The Man With The Golden Gun" and "The Living Daylights."
"The James Bond Ultimate Edition: Volume 2" will include "Thunderball," "Die Another Day," "The Spy Who Loved Me," "A View To A Kill" and "Licence To Kill."
On December 12th, MGM will release "The James Bond Ultimate Edition: Volume 3" and "Volume 4," including "GoldenEye," "Live & Let Die," "From Russia With Love," "For Your Eyes Only,""On Her Majesty's Secret Service," "Tomorrow Never Dies," "You Only Live Twice," "Dr. No," "Octopussy" and "Moonraker."
Each all-new DVD will feature never-before-seen footage from the Bond archives, including long-anticipated deleted scenes. Other bonus material will include rare interviews, long sought-after documentaries, new menus, interactive film guides, brand new featurettes and, for the first time ever on a Bond DVD, new audio commentaries by Sir Roger Moore.
Each volume will be available for the Suggested Retail Price of $89.98, which means the "street price" should be around $58.00 or less.

Spanning over 40 years beginning with the release of "Dr. No" on October 7th, 1962, the James Bond 007 films have become one of the most popular franchises of all time among movie fans around the world.
Packed with bonus materials taken from EON Production�s archives, these collections are a must own for James Bond lovers, whether their favorite 007 is Sean Connery, Roger Moore, George Lazenby, Timothy Dalton or Pierce Brosnan.
Each film is presented in its original aspect ratio, with original burned in subtitles and captions, mono and stereo sound (in addition to the new 5.1 DTS Audio). Subtitles will be available in English, Spanish, French, Korean, Chinese Mandarin and Thai.
Each film will be presented on two discs, with the movie and commentaries on disc #1 and the extras on disc #2.
