"Gracie" will arrive on DVD September 18th, distributed by New Line Home Entertainment.
Based on true events from the lives of the Shue family, including producer and co-star Andrew Shue and his sister and co-star, Elisabeth Shue, "Gracie" is an inspirational film about a teenage girl (Carly Schroeder) who, after the death of her brother, decides to petition the school board to allow her to play on the all-boys high school varsity soccer team.
Undeterred by the obstacles she faces from her family and community, Gracie finds the inner strength she never knew she had and perseveres to change everyone’s beliefs of what she is capable of – including herself.
The film also stars Dermot Mulroney and is directed by Davis Guggenheim and will be presented in widescreen (1.85) with audio in English (Dolby Digital 5.1 and English 2.0 Stereo Surround), along with English and Spanish subtitles.
"Gracie" will carry a Suggested Retail Price of $27.95, but most stores will be offering this up for less than twenty dollars.
