Fox Home Entertainment will bring the shortlived sitcom “Kitchen Confidential” to DVD on May 22nd.
Jack Bourdain is a talented chef whose bacchanalian lifestyle has effectively ended his career: too much wine, women and song has made Jack a has-been.
But, when he’s given a second chance and just 48 hours to staff and open an upscale restaurant, Jack assembles a dysfunctional and wildly libidinous staff, and things really start cooking, both in the kitchen and in the bedroom.
Based on the bestselling memoir by real-life New York chef
Anthony Bourdain and brought to life by actor/director Fred Savage and
executive producer Darren Starr, “Kitchen Confidential” stars Bradley Cooper as Bourdain, with Nicholas
Brendon, Jaime King, John
Francis Daley and Bonnie Somerville. But the show was off the air shortly after it began.
The 2-Disc set will feature all 11 episodes of the show, which will be presented on DVD in full screen with audio in English
(Dolby Digital 5.1), Spanish and French (Dolby Surround), along with
French and Spanish subtitles.
The Suggested Retail Price will be $29.98, but most stores will be offering this for about $21.00.
